Mission:

To provide a quality education in the field of cosmetology and prepare students to work as a hair stylist , esthetician, nail tech, beauty consultant, hair color specialist, barber, salon owner, film hair stylist, salon manager, theatrical makeup artist, makeup artist, skin specialist, cosmetology instructor, and beauty industry professional. Students will be prepared to pass state board and learn the latest trends in cosmetology.

CC’s Beauty Institute will offer affordable tuition. Student's will have the option to attend full-time, part-time and online. Online students must take test in person and receive practical training in person during cohort sessions.

CC's Beauty Institute LLC is a Farouk Chi Partner School.

Student's will receive advanced color and cutting classes.

Consquilla Carey M.Ed.

Founder/ Licensed Instructor

Consquilla Carey is the owner of Affordable Styles Hair Salon with over thirty years of experience. Consquilla is a graduate of Dudley Beauty School. During her matriculation at Dudley Beauty School, Consquilla competed in hair competitions. Consquilla received numerous of trophies and certificates for being an outstanding stylist. Consquilla is also a graduate of Morgan State University with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences. Consquilla received a Master’s Degree in Education from Cambridge College.

Consquilla is a Certified Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher with 15 years of experience. Consquilla incorporated her college education into her Cosmetology career. Consquilla is a licensed stylist in Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina. Consquilla is the owner of CC’s Beauty Institute, LLC in Richmond. CC’s Beauty Institute, LLC is a hair salon and beauty school. Individuals will have the opportunity to train a receive a cosmetologist license.

Daquan Hill

Assistant Director of Tradeshows and Special Events

Daquan Hill is a full time College Student. Daquan was introduced to tradeshows and hair shows at the age of four years old. Daquan is the son of the founder Consquilla Carey. Daquan began traveling and setting up for shows with his mom at an early age. Daquan is also a musician /actor and compete in competitions and attend special events.

Lakiesha Nicole

Cosmetology Instructor /Makeup Artist

Lakiesha Nicole is a graduate of CC's Beauty Institute. She is a licensed cosmetologist/instructor, makeup and skin care specialist at CC’s Beauty Institute.

Highly gifted and creative Makeup Artist with more than 13 years’ experience in interpreting the make-up requirements of clients and to produce both a creative and technically accurate visual representation: ensuring that models, performers, presenters and others have suitable make-up and hairstyles before they appear in front of the cameras or an audience.

Lakiesha Nicole has worked for the top prestigious companies like M.A.C.

Currently Lakiesha Nicole is the founder and owner of Lakiesha Nicole LLC, Photography and Makeup Studio, located in Miami, Florida since 2018. Utilizing her skills Customer Service for 25 years and:

Communicate with clients clarify visual requirements
Read Movie scripts to ascertain materials/look required/budget implications, known as productions study, which may require further research

Produce and sketch design ideas for hairstyles and make-up
Demonstrate and implement a practical understanding of lighting, the photographic process, colors and the impact of special effects/make-up processes on the skin and ensure that appropriate action is taken to minimize /eradicate any unpleasant side effects from the use of specialist make-up
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of available hair and make-up products, sourcing, budgeting and ordering materials and equipment from specialist suppliers .
